Norbert Q. Klumb, 72, of the town of Wayne, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 at his residence. He was born on March 14, 1930 on the family homestead farm in the town of Wayne, to the late Alvin and Emma (nee Pamperin) Klumb. Norbert graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1947 and started farming with his parents. He spent his entire life on the family farm, and along with farming he also spent time fixing farm and other machinery. Norbert also worked at the Gehl Co. for a short time. He was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Wayne, and enjoyed photography as a hobby. Survivors include two sisters, Harriet (William) Kolbe of Wabeno and Naomi Klumb of Waukegan, Ill.; a brother, Herbert (Lanore) Klumb of New London; two nieces, Sara (Keith) Moore of Traverse City, Mich. and Sheila (Tom) Kolbe-Ahlgrim of Glenview, Ill.; four nephews; William (Diane) Klumb of Virginia, David (Joanne) Klumb of Fairbanks, Alaska,, Keith (Darlene) Klobe of Menomonee Falls and Gregory Klumb of Oshkosh; a sister-in-law, Margaret (Jim) Childress of Cape Coral, Fla.; other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were three brothers, Richard, Vernon and Donald. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Wayne. Rev. Steven Bode will officiate, and burial will follow in Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to Zion Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated. The Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, West Bend, is assisting the family.
